Are you a Christian ? Then ask yourself this question:
If, according to the Christians, God has a begotten son called Prophet Jesus Christ (may peace & blessings be upon him) (Nauzubillah), and Mary is often referred to as "The Virgin Mary", who got Mary pregnant ? Oh yeah, God came upon her and Mary got pregnant (Nauzubillah), so God must have become a man and landed on Earth (Nauzubillah). That's risky, what would have happened if God in the form of a man was stabbed by some thugs ? Who would then control the Universes ? Also, how did God float to Earth without any breathing apparatus (there's no oxygen in space). Also at what point did God become man, in the Heavens, mid-way through His journey through the Universe, or did He do a Clark Kent (Superman) and change His identity (from God to man) in a telephone box ? (Nauzubillah).
But others theologians say God the holy spirit does not have sperm in his spirit body to implant in the womb of Mary (Nauzubillah), so God the holy ghost created a body in the womb of the virgin Mary (Nauzubillah).
Both the above Christian theological explanations are utterly wrong. No where in The Bible is there a mention of the word "trinity" to explain the Christian tripartite state of God, namely father, son, and the holy spirit. The concept of trinity was a later addition to the Bible (a corruption of the Divine Word) after the bodily ascension of Jesus to the Second Heaven, to aid in the explanation to the successive generations of the followers of Christianity.
The truth is as follows:
God (Glory to Him, the Exalted) is one and only,
God (Glory to Him, the Exalted) is the absolute and eternal, Sustainer, Maintainer, and Cherisher of all the Worlds,
God (Glory to Him, the Exalted) begets not, nor is He the begotten,
God (Glory to Him, the Exalted) is unique, there is nothing like Him.
Prophet Jesus (may peace & blessings be upon him) is a Prophet of God (Glory to Him, the Exalted) and was never crucified and is still alive, as he waits in the Second Heaven for the anointed time to slay the "anti-Christ" (Dijjal). When Prophet Jesus returns to Earth at some point in the future (although not in the capacity of a Prophet), he will get married, have children, and will die, just like other men and Prophets before him.
Written in a respectful and conversational style, this unique book is designed to promote constructive dialogue and foster mutual understanding between Christians and non-Christians. The author, a skeptic and journalist, asks basic questions about Christian belief.
What is the born-again experience? Why would God want to sacrifice his only son for the world? Do miracles really happen? How reliable is the Bible? What is the rapture? Why isn't everyone a Christian? Each question is followed by commentary and analysis that is skeptical and tough but never argumentative or condescending.
Christians will find the book useful as a basis for developing their apologetics, while skeptics will welcome Harrison's probing rational analysis of religious claims.
